The place are transaction signatures beside the scriptSig?

To spend a UTXO, we have to signal it (have the scriptSig). Then we are able to spend that UTXO to any deal with we wish, which it wasn’t included within the signature we produced for unlocking the UTXO. So we should always present one other signature to precise our intention that we wish to spend to this particular output[s]. Is that this proper?
When I attempt to observe a transaction utilizing bitcoin-cli I do not see any signature for the entire transaction.
